I found some interesting drawings / paintings by Yekaterina (Katiya) Pavlova, a grad student in ACM at Caltech. I especially liked a painting of Landau (2.2 MB), and the following drawing:

hey amazing art..i do paint, but painting like this will always be a dream i suppose :D
